P.P.C. ELECTIONS: The Parish will be holding an election to fill three vacancies in the Parish Pastoral Council. Any registered, practicing parishioner can be nominated as a candidate. Nominations can be delivered to the parish office in a sealed envelope addressed to “PPC Election Nominating Committee”. Nomination forms are available at the entrances of the church. Wednesday, November 8th is the last date for nominations so candidates can be presented to parishioners on the November 11th and 12th weekend. BAZAAR: C.W.G. annual bazaar November 18th, 2006 from 9:00a.m– 3:00p.m. If your cleaning up save the good stuff to bring the week before. Quilt tickets available. Everyone Welcome!

SUNDAY MISSALS FOR THE NEXT LITURGICAL YEAR (2007) The new Liturgical Year will be commencing on the first of Sunday of Advent. The new missals have arrived and are on the tables at both entrances of the church. They are only $4.00 each.  

MEETINGS:

CWG: Tuesday November 7th after 7 p.m. Mass.

Baptism Preparation: Wednesday, November 8th , 7:30 p.m.

Reconciliation: Saturday, November 11th, 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD: Reminder that the gift-filled shoe boxes for hurting children around the world, are due the weekend of November 12th. Shirly Frenette will call everyone who has received a box from her to arrange a pick-up time. For more information please call Shirley @ 685-0576.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION: Parents are requested to register their children aged 5 to 12 for Sunday classes which will be held on every Sunday in the Church between 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. Classes will commence on the 22nd of October. For the registration kindly contact Paula Nason - Wiegand at (819) 684-1325 or the parish office at (819) 684-6926.

SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL: The Aylmer collective kitchens are looking for volunteers to do some on-site babysitting during the kitchen's cooking day. Many participants are single mothers who don't have means to pay for sitters. Cooking days are one Friday a month, from 9:00 to 3 p.m., at the St. Vincent de Paul house, 39 Dalhousie Street and on Saturday, 3 times a month, at the Aylmer Food Centre, 57 du Couvent, from 9:30 to 3 p.m. Volunteers please call Émanučle Lavergne, Aylmer Food Centre at (819) 684-0163.

MEN OF ST. MARK’S: You are invited to join us for a Men's Breakfast at Annunciation of Our Lord Parish on November 18, 2006 from 8:15 – 10:30 am. Our speaker is the honourable Jack Murta, a former cabinet minister in the Clarke and Mulroney governments. Jack is presently leading the parliamentary prayer breakfasts for MP's and other hill staff. Jack is an exciting speaker and will be sharing with us, amongst other things, his journey from the United church to the Catholic faith. We fully expect this event to be a SOLD OUT event. Tickets will be scarce so act quickly: phone Rome Audet at 819 685 2380 to arrange for car pool from our parking lot. Regular price of tickets is $10 - students $5.
